Bulgaria is located in the southeast part of Europe and specifically in the eastern part of the Balkan Peninsula. It has a common border with Serbia and Republic of Macedonia on the west, Greece and Turkey on the south, and Romania on the north. Bulgaria has an estimated number of 7,364,570 inhabitants and with a land area of 110,994 square kilometres, this country ranks as the 15th largest country in Europe. The capital of Bulgaria is Sofia; this city is known as the largest city of Bulgaria with a population of 1.27 million people.

Bulgaria has a moderate and transitional-continental climate. In the summer, the temperature can reach up to 25-30° C but it can still be disrupted by occasional rainfalls. Winters enter with snow showers everyday and an estimated average temperature of 0° C. During spring and autumn, rain showers pour on a frequent basis. The ideal time to visit is from June to September when the days are long and sunny.

- Tourist Attractions

Sozopol is one of the best tourist attractions in Bulgaria and is located on a small scenic rock-strewn peninsula on the Black Sea which is 30 kilometres south of Burgas. Sozopol is enclosed by a clear sea on the sides and similar to a pile of rocks on a tiny portion of terrain.
The Magura Cave is one of Bulgaria’s most famed and awe-inspiring caves. The cave can be found 32 kilometres from the town of Belogradchik in the northwest part of the country. A hefty quantities of bones from different primitive species have been discovered in the Magura Cave.
