Description

Costa Rica is a country in Central America. It borders Nicaragua in the north, Panama in the southeast, Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east. The country itself covers an area of 51,100 square kilometres and has a population of 4,608,426 people. The capital of Costa Rica is San Jose; a city with a population of 365,799 people and a land mass of 44.62 square

Weather

Costa Rica is commonly recognized as a tropical country because of its close proximity to the equator; Costa Rica has no real winter period, and the sun shines here throughout the year. With over 12 hours of sunshine a day, the sun rises at about 5 am and sets at 6 pm constantly throughout the year. Usually, the perfect time to visit Costa Rica weather-wise is in December and January when everything is still green from the rains.

Language

Spanish is the official language in Costa Rica, although English is broadly spoken in the business community and at most tourist destinations.

Currency

Costa Rica’s official currency is the Costa Rican colon. Costa Rica’s firm economy depends on agriculture, electronics exports and tourism. Poverty has been considerably lessened over the past decade and a strong economy has been put into place.

Tourist Attractions

Arenal National Park is a home to Costa Rica’s most active volcano and one of the park’s main attractions is the Tabacon Hot Springs. Tabacon Hot Springs is one of the best tourist attractions for the reason that this is truly a refreshing and relaxing place.

Corcovado National Park is an unquestionably the most stunning place in Costa Rica. It is often considered as one of the major natural reserves in the whole of Americas. The opaque and green rain forest here invites tourists from all over to be in awe of its beauty.
