Egypt is the most crowded country in the Arab world and is located in North Africa, with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge in Southwest Asia. The country covers an area of 1,002,450 square kilometers and holds a population of 80,085,862 people. The capital of Egypt is Cairo; the largest city in the Middle East with a population of 6,758,581 inhabitants and land area of 453 square kilometers.

Since Egypt is a desert-filled country, the weather tends to be scorching hot during the day and freezing cold during the night. It doesn’t have that much rainy day, though it does pick up cool breezes now and then from the Nile. The perfect time to visit Egypt is from October to May. Even though it is the peak of travel season, the temperatures are a lot better for those that are not used to the weather.

Located in the Giza plateau, The Sphinx of Giza stands as the largest of all known sphinx in the history of the ancient Egyptian architecture. The Sphinx of Giza is a mythological animal shaped figure which is portrayed as a recumbent lion that has a human head.
City of the Dead, which is also found in Cairo, is a place that has a strange practice meaning the residents live with the dead. The four mile area is usually packed by piles of tombs and mausoleums that also hold a thriving community of live people.
