Description

Located in the epicentre of Europe, France’s border regions tempts with frequently disregarded delights. France is generally the most visited country in the world. It has everything that any visitors could ever desire to see like fine-looking beaches, loads of monuments than any other country, lovely nature and unbelievable mountain scenery. The country itself covers an area of 674,843 square kilometers and boasts a population of 65,821,885 people. The capital of France is Paris; a city with an estimated population of 2,186,097 people and is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe.

Weather

France is a vast country that broadens over a large patch of latitude and consequently the type of weather differs according to district. In southern France, the climate is Mediterranean which is characterized by humid summers and serene winters. In the north, where Paris is located, France has a moderate weather, which means hot summers, freezing winters and rainfall spread all through the year. The ideal time to visit Paris is from April to June or September to November when things are easier to come by with explicit weather while the months of July and August are the worst for crowds.

Language

French is a Romance language spoken as the main language by most citizens of France. Since 1635, the Academie francaise is France’s official command on the usage, terminology, and sentence structure of the French language.

Currency

France’s official currency is the Euro. Economically, France is the world’s 5th largest and wealthiest. It is the 2nd largest economy in Europe after its central economic partner, Germany

Tourist Attractions

The Eiffel Tower is the most visited monument in the world which is located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. Constructed in the year 1889, it has grown to be both an international symbol of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world.

The Musee du Louvre is one of the world’s biggest museums and known as the most visited art museum in the world. This is considered as a central landmark of Paris and is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the 1st arrondissement district.
