Maryland is a State in the U.S that is located on the Mid Atlantic region bordering West Virginia, the District of Columbia and West Virginia to its West and Southern region, Delaware to the east and Pennsylvania to the north. The capital city of Maryland is Annapolis and Baltimore is its largest city. Maryland covers an area of 32, 133 kilometers squared with a population of about 6 million. Maryland houses important sciences research and developments with about 350 companies located in the State.

Maryland has different climes because of the variances in water proximity, elevation and down slope winds. Summers are usually warm with high humidity and heat. Winter varies in all States with moderately mild conditions near water bodies and cold and snowy near the mountains.
