Missouri State is located on the Midwestern region of the U.S. It is bordered by Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Tennessee. The capital city of Missouri is Jefferson City, Arkansas city being one of the largest cities in the states. Missouri has 114 counties with a population of about 6 million and covers 180, 533 kilometers squared. Missouri is the only state that has two Federal Reserve Banks which are in Kansas City and St. Louis.

Due to its humid continental climate, Missouri has humid and hot summers and cold winters. The southern area of the state however experiences the humid subtropical climate.
