New Hampshire is a U.S. state that is located on the northeast area of the New England region. This state derives its name from Hampshire which is the southern English county. It borders Vermont to the west, Atlantic Ocean and Maine to the east, Massachusetts to the South and to the North, the Canadian province of Quebec. New Hampshire covers an area of about 24,217 kilometers squared and has a population of about 1.4 million. The capital of New Hampshire is Concord while Manchester is the largest city.
