Ohio

Ohio is a U.S state which is located on the Midwestern area of the country. It is a quite populous state with about 12 million residents. The capital of Ohio is Columbus city which is also the state’s largest city. Ohio covers an area of about 116,096 Kilometers squared. The state is also known as “The Buckeye State.” Ohio occupies 18 seats of the House of Representatives of the U.S in the government.

Ohio has the humid continental climate in most areas of the state with the exception of the southern region which are subsequently located on the periphery of humid subtropical climate.  Summers are usually hot and humid all over the state and the winters are typically cool to cold. The state receives precipitation all year round. Ohio does have severe weather once in a while.

While Ohio has no official language, most of its residents speak English. However, due to immigration and ancestry groups, there are other indigenous dialects which might be in use.

Ohio uses the dollar currency as a member of the U.S. The state has recently been praised based on its business transactions and economy.  Most hotels and banks can help with currency exchange.
