South Africa, also known as the Republic of South Africa, is a country located at the Southern tip of Africa, with coastlines on Atlantic and Indian oceans.South Africa neighbours Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe to the North, Mozambique and Swaziland to the East and Lesotho is an enclave surrounded by South African territory. South Africa covers a land area of 1,221,037 square kilometers. The country has a population of over 49 million people. South Africa has three capitals, Pretoria (Executive) whose population is over 2.3 million people, Bloemfontein (Judicial) whose population is over 369,000 people and Cape Town (legislature) whose population is over 3.4 million people.
