Wyoming is a State in the western region of the United States. It has many mountain ranges and is also the tenth largest State in the U.S. Wyoming’s population is roughly 560,000 people and its capital is Cheyenne. Cheyenne is also the most popular city in Wyoming with almost 60,000 residents.

Wyoming has a fairly dry and windy climate; with a rapid cool down at night. Wyoming will experience rainfall mainly during the late spring and early summer months. Their winters are cold and Wyoming is generally a dry state. July will produce the highest temperatures, averaging around 31 degrees Celsius on a normal day.

Wyoming’s official language is English. Its largest ancestry groups include English, Irish, German, American and Swedish.

The U.S Dollar is the official currency of Wyoming. The main contributors to this state’s economy are tourism and mineral extraction. Agriculture has also historically been a good component of their economy; and the current commodities produced include livestock, sugar and grain.

Wyoming has a variety of tourist attractions to offer. The Grand Teton National Park is a popular mountain range for hikers and mountain climbers. It rises to more than 13,000 feet above sea level and some of its peaks reach above 12,000 feet elevation.
For something more exciting, you can visit the Cheyenne Frontier Days for a variety of cultural events and even some rodeo events. It also features the CFD Old West Museum with a lot of history to offer.
